Time to do math related activities at home and what is more fun than doing some baking that may include decorating the cake. Use small counters preferably edible ones like chocolate chips or M&Ms. You will need a number divisible by 8. In the picture we used 48.
Children love putting them on cake doilies or a real cake and you can use the opportunity to talk about equivalent fractions. Enjoy!
