Some students can be assisted to notice a pattern when the numbers are placed on a number line some students can work well with a 100-chart. It is also beneficial to transpose one format into the other and talk about the differences and similarities. Here are two options to work on number patterns, talk about how the combination of two or three numbers can help to find the pattern.
